Travel website design

Here at Webheads we love to travel, so it goes without saying that we love designing travel websites. Travel is an exciting process – from the first excitement of choosing where to go, perusing Google Earth and finally getting on that plane! So why shouldn’t that initial process be responsive, helpful and beautiful? That’s exactly what we aim to achieve with all our travel web design.

Ethical Business

In the past we’ve had requests from all sorts of different businesses to create a website for them. Sometimes, however, we have to say no. There are some things that we can’t morally get involved with. We’re all open-minded sorts, but we have to draw the line somewhere. Before we go any further, you can always check out our new Business Ethics page to see what exactly we won’t touch with a barge pole.

Giving a little something back – Charity website projects

Webheads has always been keen to help out not-for-profit and charity website projects wherever possible. Over the years there have been several Webheads collaborations with such organisations. We work in partnership to meet the specific needs of their work. From Breakthrough Breast Cancer to Mission Motorsport, we have a wide range of experience and always work for a charitable rate.

Changing the way you network in 2015… The social media landscape in China is a totally different view than we see in the West. That said, there are many similarities in the ways that people network. We’re all human after all and enjoy communicating in comparable ways. So which are the main players in China and how do they compare to their Western counterparts? And are we set to see their influence penetrate the West?

Happy Christmas from Webheads

It’s been a great year and we have worked on some terrific projects and even managed to finally revamp our own Webheads website. We would like to thank you for your continued business and support in 2014 – it’s very much appreciated. Have a wonderful Christmas and we look forward to continued success and prosperity for us all in 2015.

Social Media Trends for 2015

Changing the way you network in 2015… Social media is set to become one of the mainstays of content marketing in 2015. Up until now, many companies have simply ‘dabbled’ in social media, knowing that it is important, but not really embracing all its potential for their business. It is quite simply the best method of distributing your content and messages. Privacy With hacking and confidentiality issues saturating the media this year, privacy will be a big thing. People seek the ability to be anonymous, or to at least not have all our private conversations being monitored or analysed for marketing or government security. Little surprise we have seen a rise in […]

SSL Benefits for Google SEO

Google recently announced they would be using SSLs 2048-bit key / HTTPS as a ranking signal in their search algorithm. Whilst it will only make up a ‘lightweight signal’, Google have said that they may strengthen the signal over time, giving webmasters a chance to switch to HTTPS. It is vital to understand its importance in terms of SEO for your website.

20 Years of Webheads

Reflections on our journey down the internet superhighway. Back on 25th July 1994 Time published this cover. It was the start of a new journey for all of us and, like the industrial revolution before it, nobody quite knew where we were all heading.

#Webheads Trends Worldwide

When #webheads started trending across Twitter the other night, we waited with baited breath for some sort of scandal… Hey, we lead exciting lives for web people.
