Our team jumped into action to craft a unique, speedy and responsive website for them on the new Shopify 2.0 platform. Not only were Milory’s ecstatic with the end results, we are also enamoured with the new iteration of Shopify which helped to turbocharge the brand and bring their eCommerce expectations to life.

As a purveyor of alcohol with a rich heritage and history, there were certain expectations when it came to designing, deploying and overall delivering for the Milroy’s brand. We ensured to keep their well-known branding at the forefront by drawing the deep blue and gold tones from their logo across the various webpages, banners, blocks and design punctuations where applicable. The product pages also received this design consistency and cohesion – displaying each product on a clean white background and adorning the page with call-to-action (CTA) snippets such as low stock alerts and copy that appealed to the senses such as how a beverage would appeal to the ‘nose’ and ‘palate’.

We were glad to be able to extend our design and work ethos with a custom Shopify website for Milroy’s. Their updated Shopify 2.0 platform empowered our team with much more flexibility, possibility and developer tools – something their previous iterations arguably didn’t always deliver on. Such improvements meant that we could create a fully bespoke experience for the website visitors (i.e. Milroy’s customers and potential customers alike), a fully responsive website on both desktop and mobile devices and a sleek and speedy interface which helped with the website’s search engine optimisation (SEO) efforts.

Even though Milroy’s has a long and successful history, the first impression of a brand usually takes place online nowadays and so having this custom Shopify website in place allows for potential new customers to convert into loyal and repeat customers.
