Fraudulent Emails Impersonating Webheads

We have recently become aware of a spam/phishing email campaign falsely using the Webheads name, branding, and website URL.

These emails are NOT from Webheads.

The messages appear to promote website audits or compliance reviews and may contain tracking links, redirects, or misleading marketing language designed to appear legitimate. In some cases, recipients may see links or references connected to webheads.co.uk, despite the emails having no connection to our business.

We want to make it absolutely clear:

• Webheads is not responsible for these emails
• We have not authorised any third-party company to send them
• We do not use Gmail accounts for official client outreach
• We do not send unsolicited “compliance check” or “urgent audit” campaigns

Unfortunately, scammers and spam operators will sometimes reference legitimate businesses or websites to increase credibility and bypass spam filters.

We are actively reporting the abuse to Google and relevant providers, however these types of campaigns can be difficult to stop immediately.

What To Do If You Receive One

If you receive an email claiming to be from Webheads that looks suspicious:

• Do not click any links
• Do not reply
• Mark the email as Spam or Phishing within Gmail or your mail platform
• Verify directly with us using our official contact details on our website
