Race Rig

Finally I've got around to taking some photos of the "gig" or "rig" we use for racing.

Weighing it at 24lbs, it's made from 753 Reynolds Steel Tubing, aluminium wheels and brushbow and a carbon fibre handle bar (it was given to me!).

It has a very low centre of gravity, and stability is helped by the slightly angled rear wheels.

You can also just make out a steering damper on the front wheel, which helps alot with keeping the steering stable. On the steering column I have a flex stem on the steering which takes the snap out of the vibration and saves my wrists!
Total cost would of been about £1000 ($1500), six years ago.
