The first race in the six race Championship Series will be Brandon Park on the 12/13th December. Mushers and teams will begin training in early September in preparation for the premier Sleddog races in the UK.

Teams from all over the country will race against each other from December through to March, in 6 races. Three in England and three in Scotland.
What about the snow ? We'll despite our preference for snow races the UK climate doesn't often oblidge! So we swap traditional sleds for "rigs". These are 3 wheeled buggies, normally built from bike parts, to form a traingle frame, with foot plates at the rear, and believe me you still get up to speeds of 25mph, and when you're behind 6 dogs who can each pull, 15-20 times their own body weight, it's one hell of a ride!
