Webheads comes to the aid of EarthWatch Earthwatch is a register international charity that promotes the sustainable conservation of our natural resources and cultural heritage by supporting scientific field research and education. Earthwatch and the BBC are raising funds to support a community run hippo sanctuary in North West Ghana. They needed the appeal to reach as many people as possible so EarthWatch approached Webheads for a solution. Webheads provided the facilities to webcast the BBC broadcast to coincide with the BBC's programme going on air. The webcast is still available in both Windows Media and Quicktime Formats. This appeal is still raising badly needed funds for a community run hippo sanctuary in Ghana to protect the last remaining hippos in that part of Africa. |
